The Coaching Manual is delighted to announce a new partnership with the Professional Footballers’ Association, providing innovative online solutions in order to enhance delivery of education to their coaches.
The PFA is the world's longest-established professional sportspersons' union. The role of the PFA’s Coaching Department is to prepare current and former players for a secondary career in professional football coaching.
Players and coaches under the PFA umbrella will now have access to the excellent digital resources provided by The Coaching Manual, including the Masterclass series featuring coaches such as Rene Meulensteen, Dean Smith, David Moyes, and more.
Founder of The Coaching Manual, Chris Barton, said: “We are excited to be working with the Professional Footballers’ Association, providing the tools and resources for the future generations of professional coaches and managers.
"This partnership will allow some of today’s most exciting coaching prospects to benefit from the knowledge and experiences of some of the most well-respected coaches in the sport, while developing their own identity and philosophy. We are looking forward to working with, and providing support for, a unique group of student coaches.”
The PFA is in good company as a partner of The Coaching Manual, who also work with the Irish Football Association, Southampton FC, Sheffield United, Rangers FC, Burnley FC, Chicago Fire, the American Youth Soccer Organization - as well as the League Managers Association.
