Club data reports · New for 2026/27

Know who's coaching with it, and what to do next

Usage and engagement reports for directors of coaching and club committees.

A clear, honest picture of how your coaches actually use The Coaching Manual. Every report ends in a plan, not just numbers. Included with every club account.

Seven reports across your season

Early reports catch a slow start before it becomes a lapsed seat. Later reports track the habit and feed your renewal decision. The season closes with an AGM-ready Annual Impact Report.

Five segments, five plays

Every coach lands in one of five segments, based on how recently, how often and how deeply they use the platform. Each segment is named for the action it calls for: a to-do list for the club, not a judgement of the coach.

SegmentWhat the data saysThe play

Champions

Weekly habit, self-sustaining.

Put them out front: peer-led demos, seed the club's master folders.

Amplifiers

Strong, consistent use, and influence over peers.

Each adopts two or three Nudge List coaches and shares a go-to drill weekly.

Nudge List

In the door, and one good prompt from a habit.

A Sunday session drop: that week's season plan sessions, shared by the DoC.

Re-engage

One visit so far, usually a small, fixable blocker.

One friendly conversation each: find the blocker, fix one thing.

Restart

Little or no use yet. Needs a fresh start, not a nudge.

A staff-led restart, starting with any club staff seats.

What it does for your club

More coaches, more often

Every coach lands in a segment named for the action that turns a first login into a weekly habit.

Raise standards everywhere

Consistent use of the same session library lifts coaching quality across every age group, not just your keenest coaches.

See the return on your investment

Better-supported coaches run better sessions, and better sessions keep players enjoying the game.

A service shaped around your club

We see usage dips as they happen, find the blocker and fix it, so problems are solved in weeks, not discovered at renewal.

Know your coaches

A behavioural picture of who adopts early and who needs support, invaluable when you roll out any new programme.

Invest in the right people

Clear evidence of each coach's commitment to learning, so UEFA C and UEFA B funding goes to the coaches who will repay it.

Built for your technical staff

The reports are written for the person running your coaching programme. Your Director of Coaching leads the rhythm, and every report arrives with the materials to act on it.

01

Evidence, not opinion

Who needs support and who to lean on, decided by observed behaviour rather than by who shouts loudest at training.

02

A ready-made weekly rhythm

A weekly pack to the DoC: that week's season plan sessions per age group, a drill shortlist, the nudge list and a champion worth mentioning.

03

Named starting points

Every report names the coaches to speak to this week: who to showcase, who to nudge, and who needs one friendly conversation.

04

Targeted coach development

Active days and depth of use are hard evidence of commitment to learning, the strongest basis for allocating coach education places.

05

No coach slips through

The 15- and 30-day reports catch a slow start early, so a quiet first month becomes a supported second month.

From touchline to boardroom

One annual report for your AGM

Across the season, the in-season reports build into a single Annual Impact Report, written for your treasurer, executive committee and AGM rather than for coaches. It closes with a costed recommendation for the season ahead covering renewal, seat count and coach education funding, all backed by a year of evidence.

Questions

Who sees the reports?

Your Director of Coaching and club executive. Nothing lands in individual coach inboxes. The Director of Coaching leads the rhythm and we supply everything they need.

Which clubs get data reports?

Every club account on The Coaching Manual includes them.

When do reports arrive?

Seven times across the season: at 15, 30, 60 and 90 days, at 6 and 9 months, and an Annual Impact Report for your AGM.

How is engagement measured?

By observed behaviour: how recently each coach used the platform, how often, and how deeply. That places every coach in one of five segments.

What do the five segments mean?

Champions, Amplifiers, Nudge List, Re-engage and Restart. Each is named for the action it calls for. They are a to-do list for the club, not a judgement of the coach.

How much work is it for our Director of Coaching?

Very little. Every report ends in a plan that names who to speak to, and a weekly pack arrives with that week's season plan sessions, a drill shortlist, the nudge list and a champion worth mentioning.
