Creating Chances From Wide Areas: Small-Sided Game

Set-up a pitch with a large goal on the end-line and another large goal ~10m inside the opposite half.

Add a gate in each of the wide areas.

Play 7v5. Team one has 1 GK, 3 midfielders and 3 attackers (or 1 GK, 1 DM, 3 AM and 2 CF). Team two has 1 GK and a back four.

The team with 7 attacks the goal on the end-line, they have to play through one of the gates before they can score.

The team with 5 attacks the other goal.
